Welcome to the World of W.H. Lockwood
Thanks for visiting.
I’m W.H. Lockwood, author of the MM Action/Adventure/Romance novel, Sinful Crimes for the Artistically Inclined, and the Endymion College trilogy.
I write supernatural fiction with gothic flair. I write all pairings. I love creating good people who do bad things, beautiful romances in horrifying worlds, and complex characters who keep me and my readers on our toes.
Stay a while, take a look around. You’ll find first chapters, art, TWs for all the books, and more!

Sinful Crimes for the Artistically Inclined
"It’s you and it’s you and it’s always been you…"
Catholic priest and exorcist Joe Bruno has been nursing a secret crush for months. All he can think about is too-sexy-for-words, demon-killing art historian Percy Ashdown.
One cataclysmic night, when Joe realises Percy’s about to slip from his grasp forever, he’s forced to lay his cards on Percy’s table. What Joe doesn’t know is that Percy’s dreamed of this moment since the day they met, and quicker than he can say Hail Mary, Percy whisks Joe away to Europe on the holiday of a lifetime.
The only problem is, Percy’s living a double life. And while he’s determined to keep his dark side hidden from his sweet priest, secrets soon start catching up with them. Before he knows it, the two are mired in crime, blood, and zombies.
As each disaster falls at their feet, Percy’s hapless and hilarious attempts to pretend to be good pull them both deeper into a web of lies, leaving Joe wondering, has he made the worst mistake of his life? Or could Percy really be the happy ending Joe’s always dreamed of?
Part one of an MM Romance duology, Sinful Crimes for the Artistically Inclined is the fast burn, high steam, ride or die, action-packed, elegant, and occasionally horrifying supernatural adventure that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very last line.
Swallow down your travel pills. It’s going to be a very bumpy ride.
Book Two, Monstrous Travels As Wicked as Sin is coming January 17th 2025.
ENDYMION COLLEGE
ENDYMION COLLEGE
A Lesson in Love and Death
Anna James dreamed of only two things in life: to read books and to not die.
The day she is offered a scholarship to study literature at the beautiful, exclusive and gothic Endymion College is the happiest day of her life, but soon after arrival, Anna finds it is nothing like the brochure.
Instantly thrust into a dangerous conspiracy, sent to live in a haunted dormitory with a captivating rival, Anna struggles to keep control of her only chance at a better life and to maintain her already tenuous grip on reality.
Things soon go from bad to worse when a séance goes awry, and finding herself pursued by a terrifying spectre, Anna finds comfort and a kindred spirit in her professor of literature: young, devastatingly handsome and completely off-limits.
Anna must find a way to fight both her desire and a relentless supernatural force out for blood, all while completing her work on time to hold on to her precious scholarship.
Darkly humorous, crushingly awkward, deeply romantic, Endymion College: A Lesson in Love and Death is a celebration of the books we love and an action-packed, supernatural, feminist, horror story all rolled into one.
A Study in Survival
She survived the spirit. She survived the demon. She survived term one.
Winter at Endymion College should mean only good things for Anna James: books, best friends, and studying Gothic Literature under the most handsome professor Anna has ever laid eyes on. Unfortunately, just as she prepares to relax and enjoy her very hard-earned place at this coveted university, an impossibly dashing stranger arrives to turn everything upside down.
Suddenly, Anna finds herself caught in a life or death struggle against a fiendish new supernatural assailant, and with explosive revelations and closely held secrets forced out into the open, a tragic history comes back to haunt Anna and her friends.
Knife skills and friendships will be put to the test as enemies, both human and paranormal, work to destroy everything Anna has fought to build.
Can Anna get to the bottom of her haunted apartment mystery and resist the eerily familiar charms of a gorgeous new interloper, all while trying to keep herself and her friends alive? Or will she and those she holds dearest be torn apart by a new kind of evil?
Equally gothic, just as romantic, even more dangerous, packed full of ghost stuff and demon stuff, Endymion College 2: A Study in Survival is The inappropriately amusing, cosy-horror sequel you’ve been waiting for. It’s time to enrol.
An Education in Evil
“My one and only love, please, please forgive me for everything I am about to do.”
Term two did not end well for Anna James. She did what she had to do in order to survive, and now the consequences of that fateful decision have come back to torture her.
Alone, heartbroken, desperate, Anna will stop at nothing to put the pieces of her shattered life back together, but one seemingly unstoppable demonic presence stands in her way, delighting in her misery, breaking her down and destroying every speck of hope until it seems all is lost…
But Anna was never the sort to give up without a fight.
Facing her biggest challenge yet, Anna will have to fight harder, smarter, faster, all for a second chance at love, a second chance at friendship, and to survive term three at Endymion College, hopefully with a side-order of revenge.
Arguably funnier, possibly more ridiculous, every bit as desperately, romantically horrifying, Endymion College 3: An Education in Evil is the edge-of-your-seat, knife-at-your-throat, hot cup of tea on the bedside table that you’ve been waiting for. It’s time to enrol.
About the Author
W. H. Lockwood writes gothic romance, MM action-romance, historical fiction, dark academia, and cosy horror.
Raised on a diet of Point books and Pepsi, only willing to leave her den to attend chess club at public school, W.H. Lockwood started writing at a young age and has kept this passion throughout her life.
Always a voracious reader, she obtained an undergraduate degree in Literary Studies from a gorgeous sandstone university, following that with a Master’s in Publishing and Editing, then a Master’s in Astronomy, thus uniting her two great loves of the arts and science, leaving her utterly unqualified to cope with the real world.
These days, W.H. Lockwood lives in a world of gothic horror and romance, and when not busy torturing her characters, she can be found aimlessly wandering the coffee shops and bookstores of the beautiful city she calls home.
